Welcome to The Pulse
Welcome to The Pulse, the new blog of the University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital National Poll on Children’s Health!
For the past 5 years, we’ve been keeping our finger on the public’s pulse about perceptions, and priorities regarding major issues of health, health care, and health policy for U.S. children. We ask questions of the public – including parents and other adults from all types of communities and backgrounds – for their perspectives on children’s health issues using a national household survey. By fielding surveys to over 2000 households three times a year and releasing new Reports on a monthly basis, we’ve been able to provide one of the most current measurements of public opinion on children’s health that is available today.
Now, we’re bringing something new to add. With The Pulse we’ll address important children’s health topics and issues in-between our monthly Reports—for an even more up-to-date reflection on kids’ health today. Join us for interviews with child health experts, conversation surrounding popular topics, and further information and discussion on poll Reports.
We look forward to exploring children’s health and health policy with you!
