Do you read “Nutrition Facts” labels before buying food?

Almost all packaged foods sold in the U.S. are required to have “Nutrition Facts” labels showing the dietary information for the contents of the food. These labels are designed to help consumers make well-informed decisions about their food choices.

But does anyone read Nutrition Facts labels? Does the information on the labels play a role in customers’ decisions about buying foods? We asked.
